Little Theatre carries the spirit of a man who knew that children deserve nothing less than the very best. Not sweet, not easy, not comforting, but truthful, brave and smart. Like that grumpy yet kind-hearted “scary lion” who taught us that art for children must never be an excuse for superficiality.

A new season begins. How big is Small? Come and see.

This season, we’re exploring bacteria — the bad ones, but also the good ones.

We’ll discover what a house means, and whether Hedgehog’s home is the same thing as yours.

We’ll open the door to the universe, peer into the deepest darkness and (maybe) learn how to fly.

The Children’s Stage is entering a new season with a new visual identity, but with the same belief that theatre for children doesn’t have to be sweet or simple. It can be witty, unusual, serious, a little bit crazy, and brave enough to ask the questions that really matter to children.

There will be plenty to explore this season. In November comes Bljak, and in January we open the doors to Hedgehog’s Home.

And this season, we’re staying curious.
